AssemblyBuilt is a construction products company bridging traditional building methods with advanced manufacturing, automation, and digital workflows.
Founded by Ann Schuessler—superintendent of the first LEEDTM Gold–certified project in the U.S.— our products deliver practical solutions for jobsite challenges.
The construction industry is full of innovation in tools, materials, and technology, yet many jobsite products and processes are still based on outdated means and methods. This mismatch creates unnecessary labor work, coordination headaches, and schedule delays.AssemblyBuilt is closing the gap by creating simple-to-install jobsite products designed specifically for today’s workflows—streamlining rough-in work, improving accuracy, and accelerating schedules.
While opportunities exist throughout the construction process, our current focus is:
• MEP Placement Products. Seamlessly integrate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing component placement within automated steel framing systems.
• Foundation Guides. Quickly establish critical interior wall locations and MEP slab penetrations during foundation work, prior to slab pours.
• Metal Framing Accessories. Facilitate ease of installation of MEP products withAssemblyBuilt framing accessories.
Unlike traditional manufacturers that concentrate only on their own product category, AssemblyBuilt studies the entire build process to identify where outdated products are holding back broader industry improvements. By taking this approach, we partner with manufacturers, software providers, general contractors, and subcontractors to ensure every product delivers measurable gains in speed, quality, and profitability.
We bring predictability to an often-unpredictable process. When this occurs, everybodywins—on the business side, there is money to be made. On the people side, individualsare empowered to succeed.
That’s Good Work for Good People!

Ann brings over 35 years of construction experience in various capacities, both commercial and residential, including: site superintendent, project manager, estimator, director of sustainable building practices, real estate developer, property manager, owner's representative, and hands on trade skills in plumbing, gas piping, electrical, and carpentry.
It is through the lens of these varied experiences that Ann understands the industry problems, can see the path to better products and processes, and knows the entry points to bring those innovations to market.
The in-depth experience she has across multiple specialties in the construction and real estate industry, coupled with the decades of time spent in the industry, puts a unique lens on how she sees the change that is needed, as well as how that change can be introduced, and where it is financially viable to do so.
